Blues music benefit for KCK music students this weekend!

This Sunday, May 22nd, from 2 pm to 10 pm, there will be a blues music benefit for KCK music students at BB's Lawnside BBQ, 1205 E. 85th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. Admission for the event is ten dollars and proceeds will go to the KCK Schools Foundation for Excellence, a 501c3 organization.
There will also be a silent auction held during the benefit.
Lindsay Shannon is the proprietor of BB's, a restaurant with a national reputation for great barbecue and great live music. He was a co-founder of the Kansas City Blues Society over thirty-five years ago and has a blues music program Sundays from 8pm to 10 pm on KCFX FM 101.1 The Fox.
The benefit is organized by Scott Mackey and Rockn Rick Patterson. The Foundation president is Reyhan Wilkinson.
